Evangelization
As Baptized Christians, we are all called to proclaim the Good News and to share our faith stories. To evangelize is to walk with parishioners on their faith journey, to invite those who are inactive to return, to participate in ecumenical dialogue, and to welcome those who have no church home.

Coordinator - Rev. Stefan P. Starzynski: 703 978-4141, Ext 16

Family Life

The role of Family Life Ministry is to nourish and support the everyday lives of the members of the St. Mary's Parish family.  Services and
activities focus on meeting individual and family needs from the beginning to the end of life.  The different groups in this Ministry include the
Senior Citizens' Club, the Women's Group, Scouts and various support groups. The parish pilgrimage to the Annual March for Life is coordinated through Family Life Ministry.  Another group coordinated through Family Life is the Cyrenians which includes health ministry and rides and food for parishioners in times of need.

Liturgy and Worship

The Liturgical Ministries of St. Mary's include Extraordinary Ministers of
the Eucharist, Lectors, Ushers, Altar Servers and Hospitality Servers.  There are approximately 280 people participating in these lay ministries. Every year we have training sessions at least once for the different ministries.  Last year we had a Liturgical Day of Reflection to which all liturgical and music ministers were invited.  It was held at the George Mason Catholic Campus Ministry Center.  This year we are planning to have an expanded day at Priest Field Pastoral Center in West Virginia.
