Invitation to All Widows of a Deceased Knight -
Council 8600 is starting a new program to keep track and support the spouses of the deceased Knights that attend St. Mary of Sorrows. As stated by Fr. McGivney in 1882, “The Knights of Columbus will take care of their widows and children.” A letter was mailed to the surviving widows of our Council 8600's deceased Knights at the last known address, inviting them to the Knights’ Memorial Mass. But if you are a widow of a Knight, no matter what council, or did not receive this letter but would like to participate in this program, please contact David Sharp, Grand  Knight, at grandknight@kofc8600.org or call me at 703-323-9007.
