Landings
Welcoming Inactive Catholics

Landings derives its name from the notion of providing a landing space, a safe spot to touch down for returning Catholics.
What is it?
Landings is an opportunity for people to share their faith journey, pray, and discuss Catholic spirituality with ordinary Catholics who are trying to live their faith. It is not an open-ended discussion or a class. It is a ministry of compassionate listening without judgment or pressure.
The sessions at St Mary’s are patterned after the recommendations of the Landings International program. (http://www.paulist.org/landings/What_Is.html )
Who participates?
· Those who have been away from the active practice of their faith and are considering a return
· Active parishioners who are willing to listen and open their hearts to those who have been away
· Please know you are welcome.
How does it work?
Landings meets one evening a week (usually on Tuesdays) for 8-10 weeks.
Sessions are scheduled twice a year, in the fall and in the spring.
