Praise and Worship Team
The Praise and Worship Team (PWT) is open to students in grades 7-12 who sing or play an instrument and are willing to use those talents to serve the Church.
The Youth and Family Liturgy happens twice a month on 1st and 3rd Sundays. PWT leads the music for the Mass which includes opportunities for vocal and instrumental solos as well as singing with the group. The Mass starts at 5:30 pm, but PWT meets at 3 pm to rehearse. Dinner is provided at 4:30 pm, and students are encouraged to bring $5 to help cover the cost.
In the past, PWT has also helped to lead worship for the monthly XLTs. This year, the XLTs will be led by an adult music ministry team to allow the teens an opportunity to be completely focused on adoring Christ in the Eucharist. Teens who are musically gifted are still encouraged to attend the XLTs, for it will still be an evening filled with music praising our God.
